About Kira Goldenberg, ASW, Teen + Family Therapist
I specialize in working with teenagers who stand out rather than fit in and young adults trying to find their footing. I also enjoy working with clients grappling with chronic or life-limiting illness.
I view therapy as a multipurpose tool rooted in the strength of the therapist-client relationship. I entered the mental health field after a career in journalism and progressive communications, and I use my background in amplifying marginalized voices in my work.
Therapy fosters self-discovery, helps ease mental health symptoms and process psychological pain, and nurtures the strengths you didn’t realize you already had.
I specialize in working with teenagers who stand out rather than fit in, and young adults trying to find their footing. I also work with clients grappling with chronic or life-limiting illness.
I take a person-centered, relational approach rooted in a social justice worldview and DBT skills work to help clients examine patterns, events, and dynamics and learn to cope with and navigate them. We'll look at what has shaped your past and give you the tools to shape your future.
